TAHOE CITY, CA (MPG) — North Tahoe galleries will participate in the 33rd annual Placer Artists Tour for the first time Nov. 6-8, bringing the popular countywide arts event to Tahoe City, Kings Beach and Olympic Valley. The free, self-guided tour invites visitors to meet local artists, explore galleries, discover the creative process and purchase original artwork.

The expansion marks a milestone for North Tahoe's creative community, connecting local artists and galleries with a broader regional audience while encouraging visitors to explore local businesses and cultural offerings during the fall shoulder season. The 2026 tour features 129 participating artists, galleries and schools at 80 locations throughout Placer County, from Roseville to North Tahoe.

The North Tahoe tour takes place Nov. 6 to 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, and visitors can explore participating galleries at their own pace. For more details, visit PlacerArtistsTour.org.

Participating North Tahoe galleries include Tahoe City galleries, The Eadington Gallery and Kiwi Kamera Gallery, Olympic Valley's Gallery Keoki and Kings Beach galleries, North Tahoe Arts and Tahoe Print & Frame.

The North Tahoe expansion is presented through a partnership among the Tahoe City Downtown Association, Kings Beach District, Placer Artists Tour and Arts Council of Placer County. The initiative supports efforts to strengthen the local creative economy, increase visibility for North Tahoe artists and galleries, and attract cultural tourism during a traditionally slower time of year.

"Bringing the Placer Artists Tour to North Tahoe creates an opportunity to showcase the talented artists and galleries in our community while encouraging residents and visitors to explore our downtown businesses," said Katherine Hill, executive director of TCDA. "Arts and cultural events are an important part of building a vibrant year-round economy."
