ROSEVILLE, CA (MPG) — Wendy Biel, candidate for the Roseville City School District Board of Education, District 4, announced today that she has earned endorsements from more than 25 school board members and education leaders across the Placer County Region including current Roseville City School District Trustees Jonathan Zachreson and Steve Lesch, four members of the Placer County Board of Education, four Rocklin Unified School District trustees, four Placer Union High School District trustees and three Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District trustees.

The endorsements reflect the broad confidence that fellow education leaders have placed in Biel's campaign and her commitment to strengthening academic achievement, supporting parents and teachers, maintaining safe schools and ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

Among those lending their support are Placer County Board of Education members Sergey Terekbov, Andrew Tagg, Dr. David Patterson and R. Jan Pinney, whose collective experience spans some of the region's most prominent education governing bodies.

"What stands out about Wendy is the breadth of support she has built among education leaders across our region," said Roseville City School District Trustee Jonathan Zachreson. "When school board members from Roseville, Rocklin, Placer Union, Dry Creek, and the County Board of Education are all united behind one candidate, that says something. Wendy has earned that trust, and I believe she will bring that same collaborative approach to serving our district."

Biel said the outpouring of support from fellow education leaders reinforces what her campaign has been about from the start. "Having the trust of so many dedicated school board members across our region means a great deal to me," Biel said. "I will not take that confidence lightly."

Biel and her husband, Michael, have called Roseville home since 2001 and are the proud parents of five children, all of whom attended and graduated from Placer County public schools. She currently works for the Placer County Community Development Resource Agency and previously completed two terms on the Placer County Grand Jury. Her background as a parent, small business owner, public servant, and longtime community volunteer has shaped her commitment to accountability, transparency, and student success.

The endorsements add to a growing list of local elected officials, education leaders, and community advocates supporting Biel's campaign, including Assemblymembers Joe Patterson and Josh Hoover and all three Placer County Supervisors representing the Roseville area. Additional endorsements will be announced in the coming months.
