UC Davis Offering Free Mammography Events in Roseville

ROSEVILLE, CA (MPG) - UC Davis Health will be hosting two free breast cancer screening events in Roseville, made possible through the funding from the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation. Screening mammograms will be provided on the UC Davis Health Mobile Mammography Bus using 3D mammography technology.
These events are available to women ages 40-74 who have not received a screening mammogram within the past 12 months, are uninsured or underinsured and do not currently have breast symptoms, such as lump pain, swelling, or discharge.
The mammograms will be held at Maidu Regional Park in the community center parking lot located at 1550 Maidu Drive in Roseville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Monday, Oct 5.
Appointments are required. Eligible community members may request an appointment by calling 916-703-2820 or emailing [email protected].
